Cognis consistently meets and exceeds customer requirements and expectations for its products and services. A continuously improvement process is established with regular measurement and analysis.

The Cognis quality management system is integrated in all other systems implemented considering the principles of TQM. All established processes are following the methodology of „Plan-Do-Check-Act“. All employees involved in quality relevant activities are highly qualified and constantly refresh their know how. This approach guarantees not only an always updated and efficient system. It also allows Cognis to include all upcoming demands from customers, regulatory and its own requirements.

Cognis measures its success by obtaining its goals. They are timed on a yearly basis and approved by the Executive Committee and the Management Board. Goals and achievements are compared regularly in reviews and meetings. If necessary the action plans are adapted to new requirements. Thus Cognis is able to fulfil increasing requirements now and in future.
