Adhesives and sealants hold tiles to the wall, bond wide-area floor coverings to their respective substrates, and firmly fix panels to the ceiling. Throughout the world, it is the construction industry which is the largest consumer of adhesives – and the trend is rising. Because here, too, there is a discernible movement away from mechanical fasteners to adhesive bonding. Going forward, moreover, the requirements on permanency, resistance and stability are bound to further increase – also and particularly in the more difficult applications. With our concepts for two-pack PUR products – and here we use mostly natural raw materials as the source of our environmentally compatible components – we are ready to meet the concomitant challenges.
